Weekend Recap

I LOVE that the fall weather looks like it's here to stay! To get into the spirit of the season, I took advantage of a sale at LOFT this weekend and picked up a few pieces at 60% off!! PLUS, if you use your LOFT card and spend $100 or more you get an additional 25% off. Not to mention I had $20 in rewards to spend, so I figured this was the perfect time to shop! I spent a total of $65 on everything I got below.

First up is this comfy sweater ($15). I fell in love with the colors and the fact that it is long so it will look great with skinny jeans. (I feel like long shirts are going to be hard to find this season) If I am supposed to still wear skinny jeans, why would I want to wear a cropped shirt with them?! I'm not a model and this look is not the most flattering. So I've decided to sacrifice being fashion forward to dress size appropriately. (end rant)

Next, I found this adorable dress. I have been wanting some animal print for a while, and this season it seems bigger then ever! Couldn't beat the price! ($24)

Last but not least I am a sucker for colored skinny jeans. I have tried to buy them at other places and have just realized that LOFT jeans fit me perfectly so I need to just stick with what works. I had MAJOR drama deciding on what color but after some debate and advice from my girlfriends I went with the maroon ($45).

If you're adding up the 3 pieces and noticing that it's $84 and not $65 like I said, I promise I'm not lying. All of that was before the $20 rewards card I mentioned above. See now it all makes sense!
